Super Mario Bros Crossover 2.0 Coming First Quarter This Year

Exploding Rabbit, the creator of the much celebrated fan game, Super Mario Bros Crossover delivers a video trailer of the sequel to the game. Super Mario Bros Crossover 2 features several new gimmicks as well as characters not seen before in the previous version.

When the first version was released more than a year ago, it really caught the whole world in surprise. Who would've thought that all the classic NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) characters would fit in one single game? Not only that, they moved and you can play them like you would do in their original games, but in the Super Mario World! Over time, Exploding Rabbit added even more characters and have grown a huge amount of following since then.


Well what's new in this new version anyway? Well new characters of course! As for graphics, there seems to be this new skinning system where players can choose how they want the world they play to look like. Also noticeable in the trailer are the player/character avatars so you could see the character you're playing with (pretty useful if you're not familiar with all the characters).

Super Mario Bros Crossover 2.0 will be released sometime during the first quarter of this year (2012).
